Any respectful foodie in Los Angeles has scoured the stalls at Smorgasburg. The best way to do it is to arrive EARLY and with a bunch of people so you can try a little of everything. The list below is meant to be shared, no judgement if you can eat it it all yourself, I'd be impressed!
Here's how to do it right:
Step one:
Start off with with a coffee at Stand Coffee or if your feeling adventurous go for the Almond Palmer (almond milk, cold brew, lemon, Vanilla)
Step two:
Feeling like something fried? Big Mozz usually sets up a few stands down. Let's be real you want the perfect cheese pull and THIS is the place to do it.
Step 3:
Not enough cheese pulling? Head on over to Cheezus. You can't go wrong here. If you want a plain but anything but ordinary grilled cheese, order the QUATRO BALLS DEEP.
Step Four:
Ready for something sweet but already feeling STUFFED? Head to Madame Shugah for a #vegan milk shake, After all the cheese and fried food you need to detox a bit. Get the Cookies and Cream shake, it tastes just like the real thing but it won't weigh you down.
Order every time:
Big Mozz's Mozzarella sticks
Honorable mentions:
Brothecary's giant soup dumpling
Chezus' Quatro Balls Deep
Mama Musubi's Spicy Tuna
Smoreology's Samoa S'more
Lobsterdamus' Lobster tail with garlic noodles
Mideast Tacos
Sweet N Hollow's Chimney Cone
